At that time a new 1585cc crate engine was installed, and transmission rebuilt (very tight gearbox) along with the clutch.
In the past 5 years the car received NEW paint, NEW top, and NEW boot.
In 2020 this Bug received a NEW top and New interior.
Recently, a NEW spare wheel and tire was added along with a NEW trunk liner, and NEW carpet.
The original spare wheel and tire is also included and connected to the washer bottle.
Jack and original tool kit is included.
The engine starts instantly and runs cool.
Living in the deep South, I have driven the car in the heat of summer with no issues.
