BRANCH MANAGER
Responsible for directing and administering the operational efforts of the branch through effective team leadership and use of resources.
Trains, directs, and supervises branch staff.
Ensures established policies and procedures are followed.
Oversees provision of a full range of services to members and prospective members.
Ensures members are promptly and professionally served.
Major Duties and Responsibilities Reviews and manages team performance toward identified goals.
Provides ongoing coaching as needed and partners with training team for additional learning opportunities.
Ensures branch team is well trained in all phases of their respective jobs.
Actively plans and implements cross-training and assures staff is kept abreast of all products and services.
Ensures member requests and questions are promptly resolved.
Counsels members regarding financial needs and services requested.
Handles elevated member concerns.
Ensures effective communication of available products and services.
Seeks and acts on member feedback to make improvements.
Monitors and manages expenses in relation to budget.
Ensures branch transactions are balanced at the close of each day.
Oversees individual accountability for the handling of cash and assists in resolving balancing problems.
Primary Security Officer for the branch.
Conducts security training and meetings with staff to ensure compliance.
Opens and closes the branch in accordance with set hours and tests security equipment quarterly.
Coordinates maintenance the building, grounds, equipment and fixtures of the branch.
Monitors patterns in lending and deposit operations to provide team coaching, identify opportunities, and make recommendations as applicable.
Complies with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
